Rihanna vomits ribbons after a wild night out, goes raving and enjoys some passionate sex scenes with Dudley O’Shaughnessy in the video for We Found Love.
The video, which famously got RiRi kicked off a field in Belfast, shows the couple glaring at each other in a bath.
As the pair exchange dirty looks, a voiceover says: ‘I saw you screaming when no one can hear. You always feel ashamed that someone could be that important that without them, you feel like nothing.
‘No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless, like nothing can save you. Then when it’s over, it’s gone, you almost wish you could have all that bad stuff back, so that you can have the good.’
The promo then looks back at their releationship charting the giddy highs and crushing lows as they smoke what appear to be marijuana, take pills, make love, go boozing and raving with their pals.
Rihanna is seen running through a field topless after smooching with Dudley in her car – a scene which got her booted off farmer Alan Graham’s land.
The 61-year-old devout Christian said at the time: ‘If someone wants to borrow my field and things become inappropriate, then I say, “Enough is enough”.
‘I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.’
But RiRi and Dudley’s relationship soon disintegrates into explosive fights.
In one scene boxer turned model Dudley tattoos the word mine on Rihanna’s bottom and the singer finally plucks up the courage to leave her lover after finding him passed out in their room.
Rihanna said on her Twitter page: ‘We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done. It’s all about love and love being like a drug… you definitely get that from this.
‘The good feeling of it and the dangers of it. That’s what this video is about.’We Found Love, which is produced by Calvin Harris, is the first single to be taken from Rihanna’s upcoming album Talk That Talk.
The album is set for release on November 21.
Meanwhile, Rihanna has settled out of court with David LaChapelle.
The celebrity photographer sued the pop singer, her label Def Jam, and director Melina Matsoukas accusing them of copying his work for some of the scenes in her hit video S&M.
